Why we call it home
Aiguablava — "blue water" in Catalan — is the sheltered bay we launch from every day. White sand shelves into glass-clear turquoise, pine-topped cliffs wrap the cove, and the Parador sits on the headland above. It's the calm, postcard heart of the Cap de Begur, and the first water you'll swim in before we head out.
Getting here & boarding
There's a car park just above the beach and the Begur town bus drops close by in summer. We board straight off the jetty, so there's no wading or long walk with bags — arrive ten minutes early, meet your skipper, and you're on the water. Every trip returns here at last light to disembark.
