Where the cliffs let go
At Platja del Racó the rocky cape finally softens into the long, open strand that runs toward Pals. The water turns shallow, calm and wide — a complete change of mood from the tight coves to the south, and a relaxed place to linger.
The turn for home
This is usually our furthest, gentlest point before we turn and cruise back south to Aiguablava. A long shallow-water swim here, then an easy run home along the coast as the light softens — the quiet end to a full day on the water.
