One Morning South

The coastline around Begur is one of the Mediterranean's best-kept secrets — a succession of intimate coves carved into pine-clad limestone cliffs, each with its own character. Beginning at the jetty of Aiguablava, your private boat threads north past Cala Aiguafreda, a naturally sheltered cove framed by the headlands of Punta des Plom, before rounding Cap Sa Sal to reach Cala Sa Tuna. Here, century-old fishermen's cottages in terracotta and blue line the gravel shore, and the cove's near-total shelter from swell makes the water glass-still.
