Tucked right beside Aiguablava, Fornells is a small natural harbour cove ringed by low rock and a scatter of moorings. When the main bay is busy it's our calmer second boarding point and a tucked-away place to drop anchor.

When we anchor here
In light winds Fornells stays glassy long after the open water has picked up, so it's a favourite for a quiet swim away from the crowds or a sheltered pause mid-trip. The Camí de Ronda coastal path links it on foot back to Aiguablava in a few minutes.
