The cave the route is built around
Cova d'en Gispert is the signature sea-cave the whole Aiguablava day is designed to reach. You can't get to it on foot — only from the water. Your skipper noses the bow gently into the rock, and on the right day you drift inside walls of stone with the sea glowing beneath you.
Reading the light & swell
Whether we enter, and whether you can swim inside, depends on swell, depth and light on the day — your skipper makes that call. In early summer the low sunrise can flood the cave from within, which is why dawn departures are so prized for this stop.
